The 113th Fieragricola – the biennial international agriculture show – is scheduled Wednesday 31 January to Saturday 3 February 2018 at the Verona Exhibition Centre, Italy. First held in 1898, Fieragricola in 2018 will celebrate 120 years of history through a formula targeting all branches of agriculture: agricultural engineering, vineyards and orchards, animal farming, renewable energy, multi-function agriculture, green management and forestry, pesticides and fertilizers.
As in 2016, the Wednesday to Saturday formula has been confirmed.
Once again in 2018, Fieragricola will seek to strengthen international relations – the focus events dedicated to Africa, Iran, Cuba, the Middle East and Caucasian Republics proved to be very interesting at the last edition – and identify a guest country as an opportunity for dialogue involving issues such as innovation and competitiveness in agriculture and to promote bilateral relations between the agricultural world and institutions.
In 2016, Fieragricola confirmed its status as a reference platform for the primary sector with 130,000 visitors – with 15% of trade visitors arriving from abroad, up by 5% over 2014; there were 1,000 exhibiting companies and 600 head of livestock; 100 training events included conferences and workshops attended by more than 10,000 people.
