Efficiency and effectiveness: the focus of the 2017 Feed Mill Management Seminar


Feed manufacturing is an important aspect in poultry and egg production and processing.

The 2017 USPOULTRY Feed Mill Management Seminar focused on improving mill efficiencies in feed production, including preventive maintenance options, inventory control, accuracy in weighing and methods for controlling steam quality. Sponsored by U.S. Poultry & Egg Association, the seminar was held Mar. 22-23, at the DoubleTree Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee.

The seminar was developed by an industry committee of experienced and knowledgeable feed mill managers, and university faculty.
