Egg prices have continued to climb worldwide, according to the latest report from GlobalProductPrices.com. Based on data collected from 80 countries, the average global price for a dozen medium-sized, non-organic eggs now stands at USD 3.32.

Global trends

The average price of eggs has increased steadily since early 2022, rising from USD 2.40 in March 2022 to more than USD 3.30 by September 2025. Although prices temporarily stabilized during 2023, the overall upward trend reflects ongoing cost pressures and tight market conditions.
