The 30th anniversary of Innov’Space at SPACE 2025 marked a record-setting year for innovation in livestock farming. Out of 108 applications, the jury of experts selected 43 award-winning solutions, reflecting the industry’s growing focus on biosecurity, animal welfare, sustainability, and digitalization. Notably, 11 awards went to the agri-machinery sector, setting a new benchmark for technology in animal agriculture.
For poultry farmers, several winning solutions stand out for their potential to improve flock management, reduce environmental impact, and enhance efficiency.
Digital tools and smart monitoring
-
ChiCams (Agri-Food.AI) received a 1-star award for its AI-powered vision system that tracks broiler growth and headcount with more than 95% accuracy under real farm conditions. Daily weight reports allow farmers to monitor performance without manual weighing, supporting precision management and competitiveness.
-
TellCozy (Tell Elevage), another 1-star winner, connects environmental sensors with infrared cameras to track bird comfort and behavior in real time. Its proprietary Index of Spatial Distribution (IRS) provides an instant measure of animal welfare.
-
coMI SENSE (Groupe Michel – JYM Nutrition), also a 1-star awardee, uses sound and video analysis combined with AI to detect stress or anomalies in broiler houses. The platform reduces losses, optimizes performance, and lightens the mental load for farmers.
Animal health and welfare
-
IMVAC Safe (Ceva Santé Animale) earned a 1-star distinction for its intramuscular vaccination equipment for poultry. Capable of vaccinating up to 1,200 birds per hour with precision, the system reduces backflow and operator risk, while generating traceable data for farm managers.
-
VetLinkPlatform (Adventiel) introduces veterinary teleconsultation to farms with limited access to vets. Compatible with 4G/5G, the system integrates connected devices (stethoscope, ultrasound, smart glasses) to provide timely support and improve animal care.
-
E-doggy Agri (Maïsadour) stood out with a 3-star award for its autonomous robot dog. Guided by AI, it herds free-range chickens into shelters at dusk, saving time for farmers, improving safety, and deterring predators.
Biosecurity and sustainability
-
HyCare Digital Rodent Control (Schippers France) combines sensors, traps, and a smartphone app to create a biocide-free rodent management system, reducing resistance risks and environmental impact.
-
Connected Heat Care (Tuffigo Rapidex) won for linking heaters with controllers to deliver real-time alerts on malfunctions, protecting flock welfare and ensuring proactive maintenance.
-
AviSteam (Potters Poultry Ltd), a 1-star award-winner, introduces a portable dry steam cleaning system for hatching egg belts. Using a steam head, generator, and vacuum, the system effectively reduces bacterial load without chemicals, consuming only 10–20 liters of water per hour while improving biosecurity and flock performance.
-
Sustell™ (DSM-Firmenich), an environmental footprint calculator, offers full life cycle assessments (LCA) across animal protein chains, including poultry. Its compatibility with global databases and feed formulation software helps producers benchmark and improve sustainability practices.
Security and farm management
-
SURE-TEK (I-Tek Solutions) introduced a connected barrel lock that works with NFC-enabled smartphones, offering durable, key-free, and maintenance-free access control for farm facilities.
A benchmark for agricultural innovation
The awards were determined by a multidisciplinary jury of 60 independent experts, including engineers, veterinarians, researchers, and farmers. Each solution was assessed not only for technical merit but also for its practical value to farmers.
For poultry professionals, Innov’Space 2025 confirmed that the future of farming will be driven by data, automation, and precision tools—all designed to improve efficiency, animal welfare, and sustainability in a competitive market.
