Turkish poultry producer Pilyem contracts with Pas Reform for new hatchery in Adana

Broiler chick producer Pilyem Tavukçuluk San.Tic.A.S. in Adana, southern Turkey has invested in Pas Reform’s state-of-the-art, integrated hatchery solutions to meet growing demand in domestic and export markets. Pilyem has set up a new hatchery near Adana city center. It is equipped with Pas Reform’s SmartSetPro™ setters and SmartHatchPro™ hatchers, to deliver an annual capacity of 50 million day-old chicks.

Pilyem CEO Mr Bilgehan Kaplan said that the new hatchery is helping the business to achieve its growth plans: “The new investment that we made in breeding and hatchery facilities has doubled our capacity and enabled us to increase our exports by 50%, while also meeting higher demand in our home market. We are planning to grow our company by between eight and 10 per cent in 2018.”
