The Aviagen team looks forward to welcoming customers and poultry industry associates from around the world to its stand 11 C010 at VIV Europe 2018. Taking place June 20-22 at the Jaarbeurs Center in Utrecht, the Netherlands, VIV Europe is expected to attract visitors from Europe, Turkey, the Middle East, Africa and beyond.
Aviagen will showcase its Commitment to the Poultry Industry theme along with the industry’s broadest portfolio of poultry breeding stock intended to address a wide range of market requirements. Included in this portfolio are Aviagen’s conventional Ross®, Arbor Acres® and Indian River® brands, along with the Rowan Range® slower-growing and colored bird offering which is gaining momentum across Europe for specialty, free range and organic markets. This year is a special year for the Arbor Acres brand as it celebrates its 85th anniversary.
The company’s commitment to sharing the latest knowledge and expertise with the industry will be demonstrated both on and off the stand. Aviagen Ltd General Manager Magnus Swalander will speak at two seminars: on June 19 Magnus will talk about the contribution of poultry genetics to broiler health and productivity at a Broiler Health Conference organized by Positive Action Publications at the Mitland Hotel in Utrecht. Then on June 20, at the WATT Poultry Trends Seminar at the Jaarbeurs-Utrecht, he will look at sustainable breeding goals for the future of the European broiler market.
“VIV Europe is an important show for us,” says Patrick Claeys, president of Aviagen Europe. “As an integral part of the poultry sector, we endeavor to demonstrate our commitment to the growth and success of the industry by investing in our products, people, facilities and ongoing customer support.”
Aviagen MEA Business Manager Michael Garden echoes the enthusiasm of Patrick.
“We are delighted to be in Utrecht with the Ross, Arbor Acres and Indian River teams on hand to welcome distributors and customers from the Middle East and Africa. This show presents the perfect opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities of this exciting and developing region.”
