It is with immense sadness that we announce the death of our dear colleague and friend Rory Harman, who passed away on February 20, 2021, at the age of 61. Rory was appointed as Pas Reform North America’s Regional Sales Manager in 2018 and reported to the company’s Jacksonville Headquarters in Florida.

Rory brought over 35 years’ experience in the US hatchery industry to Pas Reform North America. His career began in Georgia in 1983 – starting in hatchery maintenance and management with Gold Kist, Inc. He then spent 15 years as a technical advisor specialising in incubation and hatchery automation, with companies including Texas-based Pilgrim’s Pride Corp. He had been an area sales manager in the industry since 2012.

“Rory was a greatly valued member of our team and he will be most sadly missed”, says Steve Warren, President of Pas Reform North America. “His skill, dedication and professionalism were pivotal to Pas Reform’s growth in the region and he was a highly popular and respected figure across the United States poultry industry. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Rory’s family and friends at this time.”

Paul Smits, Royal Pas Reform’s new CEO says: “While I have only been at the helm here for just a few weeks, I know that Rory was held in very high regard and with great affection by the whole Royal Pas Reform family. We are deeply saddened by his untimely passing.”
